Amazon EC2 Short for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud, it runs scalable resources with cloud technology as web service based on XEN.
API Short for Application Programming Interface, it specifies the interaction between some software components, such as hard disk drives or video cards. API sometimes could be used to manage server, like reboot server or checking its status.
Auto Scaling Auto Scaling automatically scale up server capacity seamlessly with the real-time demand to ensure stable server performance.
Auto-Failover Auto-Failover enables automatically switching to a redundant or standby server or network upon the failure or abnormal situations.
Backup and Restore Wizard Backup Wizard and Restore Wizard is a user-friendly interface for backup and restore purposes. Users could easily create entire or partial backup for the server environment and restore data from the last backup saved.
Bandwidth Bandwidth is a measurement of bit-rate of available or consumed data communication resources expressed in bits per second or multiples of it (bit/s, kbit/s, Mbit/s, Gbit/s, etc.).

RAID10 A RAID level used for both replicating and sharing data among disks. RAID1 stands for mirroring and RAID0 stands for stripping.

SMTP Short for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. A protocol for sending e-mail messages between servers or from email client (eg, Outlook) to mail server.
SSD Short for Solid-State Drive. A data storage device with no moving mechanical components, it runs much faster than tranditional Hard Disk.
SSH Short for Secure Shell, is a cryptographic network protocol for secure data communication, authenticate the remote computer and allow it to authenticate the user.
SSL Certificate Short for Secure Sockets Layer. It is a security protocol to ensure secure transactions between a server and a client. It allows the web browser to verify the identity of a secure site before sending private personal information, such as bank account or credit card numbers via the HTTPS protocol.
Sub Domain Sub Domain is a child domain that is part of a larger domain name hierarchy. For example, in the domain name, "hk" is a subdomain of the larger domain "".
Unlimited Traffic Traffic is the amount of data sent and received by the server. It is usually presented in MB within a certain period of time. Ximbo does not limit the traffic for all the virtual server packages.
V2V Short for Virtual-to-Virtual. It refers to the migration of a virtual machine, including operating system, applications and data, to another virtual machine. Some migration tools are available on market to streamline the operation.
Virtual Machine Virtual Machine, in short form VM, is a fictive server that able to execute programs like a physical machine. It provides a complete platform to execute an operating system to run different programs and can be able to connect to external network (internet).
Virtual Network A virtual network forms a link between two virtual machines without physical connection by implementing network virtualization.
